Lectures on Danish Language and Culture in Greenland and in Iceland, in the National Museum of Iceland, September 15, at 3:30 pm

Kim_LeineOn the occasion of the participation of the Danish writer Kim Leine in the Reykjavík International Literary Festival, the Vigdís Finnbogadóttir Institute of Foreign Languages at the University of Iceland, in cooperation with the Reykjavík International Literary Festival and the National Museum of Iceland, organizes a seminar on the dissemination of Danish Language and Culture in Greenland and in Iceland.
Novelist Kim Leine discusses Danish influence in Greenland, and Auður Hauksdóttir, Associate Professor in Danish at the University of Iceland, will discuss her research on Danish influence in Iceland. Annemette Hejlsted, Associate Professor in Danish Literature at the University of Iceland, will present the speakers and moderate the discussions.

The event will take place on Sunday, September 15, at 3:30 pm in the auditorium of the National Museum of Iceland. The discussions will be conducted in Danish.
