Nordic Romanist Congress, August 12-15, 2014

The Nordic Romanists´ Congress will be held on August 12-15, 2014, at the University of Iceland. This 19th edition of the Congress will gather together romanists, linguists and literary scholars, linked to Nordic and Baltic universities, and allow them to meet and to present their research.

More than 140 scholars will attend the conference.

Keynote speakers are:
 

  • Mireille Calle-Gruber, Professor at the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle – Paris III and writer : “Le diptyque oriental d’Assia Djebar. Langues, arts, religions”
  • Emma Martinell, Professor Emerita at the Universidad de Barcelona : “El paradigma determinante: rendimiento y complejidad del artículo en español”
  • Lorenzo Coveri, Professor at the Università degli Studi di Genova  : “La maschera di Arlecchino. Sociolinguistica dell’italiano nel mondo”
  • Hanne Leth Andersen, Professor and Vice-Rector at the University of Roskilde, Denmark : “Le rôle des langues (et surtout du français) dans le système d’éducation du futur : buts, approches et intégration”
