About
Guðrún Björk Gunnsteinsdóttir completed her doctoral studies of English literature at the University of Alberta in 1993, MA degree at the same university in 1985 og BA degree at the University of Iceland in 1982.
Her main topic of research is the literary tradition of Icelandic immigrants and their descendants in North-America. Guðrún is the chair of the Nordic Association for Canadian Studies (NACS) in Iceland.
