Jessica Murphy is an Adjunct Lecturer in the English Department at the University of Iceland. She completed her Ph.D. and her MA in English Literature at Université de Montréal and her BA in Honours English Literature at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Her areas of interest and expertise include: Victorian Literature, Romantic Literature, Gothic fiction, and slave narratives as well as creative writing. In 2021, she published her first novel, Wishbone, which is available on Amazon.
