Jón Ólafsson earned his doctoral degree at Columbia University in New York in 2000, his certificate of Russian Studies from the same university in 1998 and M.Phil. degree in 1996.
Jón’s research interests include cultural studies, political philosophy, political ethics, and Soviet history.
