Adjunct Lecturer of Italian Language and Literature at the University of Iceland
Stefano graduated in Ca’ Foscari University of Venice in 2005 with a Master’s degree in Didactics of the Italian Language and Culture.
He graduated with a “Laurea” degree in Italian Literature from the University of Genoa in Italy in 1996.
His field of research is Italian Renaissance and contemporary Italian literature, e.g. Italian literature of emigration in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In recent years, Stefano has translated six of Auður Áva Ólafsdóttir’s novels and Einar Kárason’s novel “Stormfuglar” into Italian.
Stefano is currently studying on his doctoral thesis on the Italian poet Clemente Rebora.
