Adjunct Lecturer of Italian Language and Literature at the University of Iceland
Stefano Rosatti earned his doctoral degree in Comparative Literature at the University of Iceland in 2022. He graduated in Ca’ Foscari University of Venice in 2005 with a Master’s degree in Didactics of the Italian Language and Culture.
He graduated with a “Laurea” degree in Italian Literature from the University of Genoa in Italy in 1996.
His field of research is Italian Renaissance and contemporary Italian literature, e.g. Italian literature of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In recent years, Stefano has translated seven of Auður Ava Ólafsdóttir’s novels and Einar Kárason’s novel “Stormfuglar” into Italian.
